Vevo Meets: Grace Mitchell

Grace Mitchell's music contains lots of the good stuff - it's quirky, catchy, fresh and truthful. The Oregon native started playing guitar when she was 8, and was inspired to write songs after falling under the sway of Fiona Apple, Alanis Morissette, and Tori Amos. Her first break came when she was 16 – her cover of Hall & Oates' “Maneater” was featured on the soundtrack of 2013's 'The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.' Her debut EP dropped the next year; the second release, 'Raceday,' was co-produced by Mark Foster of Foster the People, and its “Jitter” got a boost from Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show. Grace has been in the fast lane ever since: moving to LA, working on her full-length, and performing. In our 'Vevo Meets,' the woman behind "NoLo," "Kids (Ain't Alright)" and "Cali God" tells us about wanting to be a better guitarist and challenging Diplo to chess matches.

Director: Cameron Robert
Producer: Kim Taylor Bennett
