We’ve been into The Big Moon for a while now. Last year, the foursome – Juliette Jackson, Soph Nathan, Celia Archer and Fern Ford – were part of our dscvr series, and they impressed everyone with their killer performance of “Formidible” and other tunes. The ladies connected with each other in London in 2014 and quickly impressed fans with their debut single, “Sucker.” On the road, they tear it up; there’s lots of rock punch to their indie-pop tracks, and have drawn raves for their energized performances. Subsequent singles such as “Cupid” set the table for their '17 debut, 'Love In the 4th Dimension,' which garnered a nomination for the UK's prestigious Mercury Prize. Vevo’s Kim Taylor Bennett connected with the band at Animal Haven in NYC. While puppies roamed around them, they discussed their band chemistry, and the reflected on the power of love songs.
