Ron Umali is an alumnus from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), Sta. Mesa. He followed his passion
for the performing arts and his perseverance landed him the lead role of San Pedro Calungsod in EV Music
Production's Pedro: Awit at Indak (an original Filipino musical play). He appeared in various musical productions such as
Black Box Production's critically acclaimed musical, Mula Sa Buwan where he played the role of Rosario and male
ensemble in Atlantis Theatrical’s Kinky Boots with Nyoy Volante.

In July 2016, he joined an international competition in singing to represent the Philippines and bagged 1 bronze, 2 silvers and 3golds during the 20th World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) held in Long Beach, California and won a scholarship grant at New York Film Academy.

He's also a back up vocalist (BUV) and appeared during the New Year's Eve Countdown to 2021 at Resorts World Manila (RWM) with Jed Madela as lead performer with Jona and Morissette Amon, etc.
