Shambhala 2017 Crew - Jordan (Taxi Volunteer) and Lauren (Reception Volunteer)

Say hello to this power couple in Episode 3 of our Crew Appreciation series: Jordan Stokes (Taxi Volunteer) and Lauren DeGaine (Reception Volunteer).

Jordan loves volunteering so much, that he says he would never go back to attending as just as a guest because he loves “knowing that you contribute to those same kinds of transformational experiences and just like that look of wonder in people’s eyes when they see some of the stuff that they don’t expect or they’ve never seen before.”

Lauren shares how rewarding it is to build a community from being a volunteer - “If you do choose to do it, you’re going to get so much out of it that it’s gonna be 100% worth it and you just get to build this family that you see every year when you come back and it’s such a special experience.”
