Shambhala 2017 Crew - Shannon (The Reception Volunteer)

In the final episode of our 2017 Crew Appreciation series, Shannon (the Reception Volunteer) opens up to how Shambhala Music Festival helped her feel comfortable in her own skin and to express her true self.

"There's so many people that come here and their minds are opened to so many different things ... Everybody is accepted for who they are and who they REALLY are, and not what people expect them to be.”

Shannon recommends volunteering as the best way to get involved as “it gives you a better understanding of the entire festival, not just the attendee’s point of view” and has plans to attend the festival even when she's in her 70s, giving out big Grandma Hugs!
